The movement of qigong is simple. It teaches you how to use your body more freely and with less effort. It reveals tension patterns that hold disorder in your body and teaches you to release them. It gently strengthens and lengthens the spine and posture. Qigong trains your mind and body to connect in a meditative way. Many describe qigong as a moving meditation because of the mindful awareness and calm mind it encourages. Learning qigong will lead to understanding how to use your body in more difficult postures and moving patterns like in Tai Chi. Through Tai Chi, you learn to move in accordance to the world around you, reacting and acting. Tai chi is a martial art, but at Moon Wolf, we work on patterns that help improve your wellness. All of our instructors have different backgrounds and lineages they have learned from and pass this knowledge down to their students.
